Why am I the only person who can't use the search facility?

I really want to find an old April 2004 babies thread, but I can't find any of them

That was the first ante-natal thread but I'm after the post natal threads. I used them much like a diary and I want to compare dd as she was then and ds now IYSWIM

Wow, there are loads of threads. Would take me ages to link them all.

Try this:

Put April 2004 in first search box.
Tick the box to search titles only.
Put a 'to' date of 22/08/2005 (the thread I have linked is the one after that date.
Select 'choose topics' and pick 'postnatal'
Run the search.

I have done exactly as you said St George and I got 0 messages. I get that every time and I have been trying periodically for months now

Hello all,

We are changing the search a bit overnight tonight (an improvement I promise). It will still do everything it does now, but there will be a new option to search and display just thread titles.

The reason for this is that it struck me that if you are looking for (say) "due May 2006" in the thread title thread, you only get to see about 5 threads because you quickly run into the 500 message limit (the "due in" threads tending to be long). The new option will be to search and show just the thread titles, so will be quicker and more user-friendly I hope. I'm also adding more feedback on how the search was performed, so you can spot errors more easily rather than just seeing "Found 0 messages"

I don't dare change anything else today, hence overnight......

As I suspected dd was hardly moving at 10 months inlike ds is now. He is up and everywhere, this weekend he stood up behind me and walked holding onto to the back of my jeans.

Did you see the sterling work I did just before Tech did the upgrade? That'll teach me!
