Were we could post with the intention of having a grown up debate - where people can hopefully be respected for having differing opinions.

Looks like MN wants to continue with mud-slinging baying-mob bloodfests!

Give me a subject, I'll debate sensibly with you if I'm still sober. Otherwise I'll just sing Pogues songs in the corner.

Great idea in theory but for real debates that actually get anywhere it's vital to have a designated chair to keep things on topic - like Melvin Bragg on In Our Time. And to tell time wasters to shut up. But only one responsible person.
