I can't report a PM

I've got a PM from someone I don't know, and I've no intention of clicking the link, but I don't seem to be able to report it to you using the report button.

Also, I've just noticed that the My Messages says "hello [old name]" not "hello Finn".

Yes. I've contacted MNHQ just in case.

I'd email using the [email protected] and tell them your concerns - head it up to catch the eye if you can. It sounds like a spam to an old name.

I seem to recall - re the 'old name' - that a PM sent to that old name will come in to your box using that old name so that bit could well be quite in line with the rules if someone has been fishing around and come across an old post.

I got one from the 'German student' there was an ! Feature I could click on to report.

If someone has messaged your old name it is because they found a thread where you were posting as that, that's all.
We are aware of this particular tedious PM spam and are on the case
