Excuse me Mumsnet people, about recommending Bath Christmas market as somewhere to take the kids......

.....we happened to be in Bath last Saturday and the Christmas market area was HELL - completely packed and not at all recommended for children, especially small ones.

I live in Bath, and knowing the market as I do, and its location, I wouldn't recommend it either, unless you can go mid week

Who on earth recommended taking children there??? Nooooo - far too busy and half the stalls are above head height for children. You'd have to hold on to them the whole time.

Bath Christmas market is lovely, but very cold and windblown today. I think it's best to go at night when the stalls are all lit up. It's only on til this Sunday, though.
