Emails telling me I have messages but I don't

I haven't used this site for at least a year as my log-in did not work on my browser. I've had an email saying I've been sent a PM by a user but having logged on, I don't.

Should I be concerned or is it some kind of glitch?

I missed all the hacking hoo-ha as I was not on here. Should I take any action?

Hi Pootle - that's the correct email address for the PM messages to come from. There is an ongoing issue with PMs at the moment, and it may be that this is connected. We'll pass this on to Tech. Thanks for posting - we'll let you know if there's anything you need to do.
