Just got taken straight to App Store after clicking on a thread

Happened to me too

It's been happening to me for a while on and off. Started a thread about it, but it was just before Jeffreygate, so (understandably) I didn't get an answer.

Sorry about this. We'll ask someone to take a look at this. Don't suppose you can remember which thread you were clicking on when it took you to the ad? No worries if not, but would be helpful if you can remember.

Again for me when following an 'I'm on' link to the thread about wedding photographers. An advert for a game (I think?) popped up first before taking me to the app store to download the William hill thing

Happened again - clicking a link on active threads. Pop op of this advert for game of war, when you click the cross to close it you get taken to be William Hill app in the App Store. I've done a screen shot for you.

This has just happened to me about three times in quick succession.

I was on this thread then moved to this thread and then it finally did it again when I clicked on Active.

If it helps, I'm on an iPhone using Chrome and the mobile site, and running iOS 9.

Thanks all, we've got in touch with our ad partners and they've blocked the ads involved, hopefully this will stop bothering you all now. Could you let us know if that's not the case?

It just happened again, I guess it's only been a few minutes since you've let us know that they should have stopped...

I think it's happening more frequently now twice now I've clicked on active threads. I wonder if I'm getting everyone's share for complaining about it
