Is there ever going to be a new one? I know I can just use the internet on my phone but I liked having an app.

Hi ChampagneTastes - the Android app is being worked on and will be here later this year. We're hoping in around 6 months time, but that is very much an estimate at this point.

It's almost impossible to post on Android on the mobile site now - typing anything, the cursor moves so slowly it skips letters and words. Only this site is affected. I use Firefox.

I'm a little put out at how Android users have been treated. We've been very patient but another 6 months seems ridiculous - I presume that the iphone app is fine and dandy? Why are we so low on the list of priorities?

I find the mobile site impossible on my.phone.The cursor skips about and thr bar about the guest post is currently sat over what i am typing so apoligies for spelling but i can't get rid of the stupid thing.

agreed that the mobile site really lags, no other sites do.
I constantly find that I think I've clicked on a thread and in reality I have clicked on a totally different one as the site hasn't caught up with my scrolling.

Hi all - apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

Our iOS users make up over 64% of our overall mobile users, which is why the iOS app took priority, with Android users taking up just over 30%. Of course, we're not saying Android users aren't important. There are a few of us at HQ eagerly awaiting the Android app too.

However, creating apps is a lengthy process - it takes around a year to create an app like this. We want to assure you the app is being worked on as we speak, and very soon we will be posting a request for volunteer testers of the early version.

If there are major issues with the mobile site, please do let us know and we'll ask Tech to take a closer look.

Again, we do apologise and please do keep posting your thoughts on this.

I am still having the issue with the mobile site as mentioned above - the cursor seems to jump over words/letters making it almost impossible to type anything. I rarely post using the mobile site now and I'm on MN a lot less. Which is probably a good thing, I actually get things done instead.

I actually tried creating a post today and when previewing it lost the lot.

It's quite a long time since new year.

Just started a really boring thread un chat about how when I click on a post in the 'threads I'm on' part of the mobile site, it takes ages to load. I used to think it was my crappy internet but I just got fibre so in theory it should be faster, but it just isn't.
Am on a Samsung S6 if that's relevant.
