I guess it's good in a way because I am not getting sucked into any attention seeking AIBU cobblers.

But just to let you know, Tech are looking into it at the mo.

Can you ask them if they've tried switching it off and on again and/or wiggling all the relevant wires?

They should let you work in Tech for a day. I'll come and help. I've got all sorts of tricks up my sleeves for tech gone wrong. They include but are not limited to:

Swearing
Swearing and kicking inanimate objects
Going out for lunch and hoping it's self-resolved when I return
Getting a bit tearful and cross
Cake
Randomly uninstalling and reinstalling things
ctrl alt del
Starting a thread on MN and asking somebody else to talk me through it

I don't reckon we'd make too bad a job of it. I mean how hard can it be?

I am mostly on Telly threads these days although there was a brief revival of an IPOAT thread with Hully & co.
