Watched threads drop off if I post on them

Is this deliberate? Is it because I haven't ticked the 'watch threads I post on' box?

It's a different requirement though!

& it's bloody annoying! I only have 7 days of Threads I'm On & once a formerly watched thread drops off I have to look for it again unless I remember to rewatch it before then

Hi TheOneWiththeNicestSmile - when you post on the thread, are you leaving the 'Watch this thread' box un-ticked? This will mean that the thread will drop off the 'I'm watching' list, as you've indicated you no longer want to watch that particular thread.

Hi Becca, thanks for reply

When I post on a thread (on iphone, on mobile site) the watch/unwatch box isn't visible to be altered. The act of posting makes it set itself to unwatch, apparently.

I haven't checked if the same happens on desktop site on PC.

Ah, on mobile, apologies. We'll test now and see if we can replicate the issue.

Ah yes, it does appear to be happening. We'll let Tech know. Thanks so much for flagging TheOne.
