massively inconsiderate imo - imagine just having settled a baby thinking you can have a quick peek on mumsnet and then a noisy bloody ad coming on and waking your child?

bad enough it's full of flashing ads that effect migraine and epilepsy sufferers without the blumming noise too surely?

I hate them. I really hope they will stop.

Hi both, this should have stopped now, we don't allow these kind of adverts on site and it's definitely not our intention to disrupt anyone with ads that play sound automatically.
We have to rely on reports because we're unable to replicate every ad on everyone's different devices, so thank you for flagging this to us.

glad to hear it thanks colette was driving me mad as it was every time i went back to threads i'm on or active. now i know they're not meant to be here i'll report if i see them.
