tagging a mner

This may have been mooted before but it's bugging me. If you mention a mnetter by name they may never see that you have commented. I know we don't eat to go all Facebook with likes and stuff but could there be a function to alert the mner in question that they've been mentioned. It's just a thought. Don't flame if it's shit

Often I see the poster's name bolded which makes it stand oot a bit, Fan

I'm glad that there is no tag function.
Most of my posts are so rubbish that anyone mentioning me will be doing it in disagreement anyway
