I thought this was worth bringing to the fore again.

Is anyone else having trouble? It took me a while to figure out what was happening yesterday on a certain thread and by the time I realised, I had already wasted a lot of time and effort in trying to engage.

Why aren't people who do this deliberately stopped from posting?

I don't know Ana. Many of them stay just within Talk Guidelines. MNHQ can delete any posts that over step the mark etc but probably the answer is for everyone else not to rise to it. Which is quite difficult. Much sitting on hands.

I just didn't twig till it was too late. She sounded normal at first. By the time it became searingly obvious I'd already been drawn in.

But she has clearly been here for many years if she knows certain stuff she mentions, which I was thrown by last night but I think I recall was a 'thing' way back when. iykwim

So years and years of fucking around with people. And still here and still able to post.

There was one on 2 parallel religion threads. One one everyone ignored and got on with the discussion , on the other the thread was derailed. Stay patient, ignore, don't challenge on thread, hit 'report'.

It is tiresome but sometimes people take bait so easily and goady fuckers are attracted to seeing how far they can go.

They just ruin the whole point of MN for a lot of people! There was one who I am pretty sure stalked me on here for a while Confused seemed to pop up on every thread that I was on and start with their controversial bullshit, in an attempt to bait me...I ended up name changing and taking a break from MN for a while, and the nobber hasn't had a pop since I came back...unless they have name changed again or finally been banned by MNHQ Hmm
