I've been playing around with my name on another thread and I've just noticed that my little 'floater' has disappeared. I didn't namechange or de-reg during the unpleasantness, and it still shows in my profile.

Where has it gone MNHQ?

I was somehow deregged during the hacking fiasco so had to sign up again and used my old name but added " is reborn" but MN have given me back the name I have had for the last nine years . It was a genuine mistake by HQ but they have done their best to put it right. My pm,s are gone and my original history, but that's ok.

I think they were in a panic and deleted a lot of stuff, well they did delete the entire data thingy the other day didn't they.

Is that on new then ? I was on classic but of course I have had to change to new so didn't know about the hovering thing

I'm still on classic, and I'd had it about a year I think.
I'd just taken it for granted and now it's gone, I'm so neglectful that I don't even know when it stopped popping up.

I would like to of kept to classic, but it's not possible now. I'm just glad to at least get my name back. It's been such a faff During all the hacking stuff I couldn't even post for days as of course my account had been deregged ! It was so annoying when I could read stuff and not post. Especially when I could see someone say " I wonder where mummylin is" I felt like saying I'm here ! Locked out . Never mind . It's done now. I have to say I do like the bookmark thing, I didn't have that before

Is the hover thing something you have to select yourself ? Have you looked in your settings to see if you can change anything ?

It's in the 'My profile' page Mummylin, there is a space for you to type a 'user status'.
I wonder if it's just me or if it's gone for everybody?

I have just looked on mine and there is indeed a space where it says that. So maybe you can just write in there again ?
