I can't namechange

Trying to name change. Tried using old nicknames and have inventing new ones. But every time the same thing - the page keeps telling me 'The current password you gave does not match the one on your account.'

Yet I can log out and then log in again with my password.

I need some advice desperately and need to nc. I've emailed HQ (hours ago) but no answer.

You could always post the problem, then ask MNHQ to delete it ASAP. That way your problem is answered and vanishes quickly too.

Ask posters who reply to your thread to report it once you've got help, then it can be gone in 24 hours.

I was just going to post it in chat but I'm a bit paranoid about all the journos lurking here.

It's difficult if it's delicate, but you'll get more replies in chat.
