App (on Android)

I've not really been on MN for ages, (since Jeff started throwing spanners) laptop at home is crap and MN mobile isn't great imo.

I haven't installed the app on my new phone, because I was under the impression that there were problems? And that it was being geared towards apple users perhaps?

Any idea where we are with this app? Bet this has been asked before but I'm in work and don't have much tme to search.

I miss it.

I know. I'm on android too so am using the mumsnet site through Internet on the phone

Well it's cured my MN addiction as the mobile site on my mobile runs sooo slow and I find it hard to navigate my way around as I usually just stick to certain topic's. I only logged in today to find out if there were any plans for another app but looks like there isn't :-(

Yes, I seem to be cured too funnily enough, however I do miss the chat.

And I'm eating more in the evening - boredom that is.

Hi PaleBlueDot - we're afraid that other posers are right. There is no current Android app, and we're recommending users to go to the mobile site at the mo.

Please can I piggyback on this thread to ask MNHQ if they could give some idea of how long us second class citizens Android users have to wait for a new app? Sorry to sound impatient but I really miss the app too. Thanks.
