last page post

in a forum i was on recently, you couldn't post onto a thread unless you were on the last page.

just a thought to stop people reading the first page getting all angry posting a reply and then spotting it is a 13 page thread (yes i do this ALL the time).

But many people have pages turned off!

And, what if you had spent ages writing a reply just for it to splurt at you that you were several pages behind when you went to post it and you lose everything. Taht would be annoying.

i think the post box was only available on the last page, so Bertie's problem wouldn't occur

Ah okay, so like it works here on threads which are too long.
