Site cripplingly slow on phone

I have an iphone 4s. The forums are normally fine via 3g and wifi.
Yesterday it was so stilted and slow. Active conversations showed headers after a minute and then died :(

Same here on BlackBerry (dont laugh!) and iPad.

Very slow on iPad too - but that might just be my iPad getting old...... Although it seems fine with every other site.

It's totally killed my iphone browser, mn page won't load and it won't let me leave the page and look at something else. Back on the laptop - oh the humanity!

I've got my blue bar back. It seems my desperate bashing on the screen had yielded some unwanted results when it appeared the screen was frozen.

Update from me... the BlackBerry is now fine...

but

... the elderly iPad crashes when trying to use MN although it is fine for all other websites.

Painfully slow on a Nokia Lumia here. Takes about 5 minutes to load a page, the same to let you start typing, and I am about to find out if posting is the same (if I don't come back it is!!)

I had this problem for the last two days on my ipad (ios8, safari). Unable to load mumsnet pages but fine on all other sites. Not tried tonight so far (am on laptop)

I have this exact problem on my iPhone 4s - it's slow on the iPad (iOS 8.something - 4 I think?) and pretty much none existent on the phone.

It keeps killing my safari browser on iPhone 4s. Haven't been able to get on all day and when I try it ends up freezing and needing a restart.

Same here since 6pm yesterday. Site loads. Kinda.

I get the site name and the 'loading' bar scrolls halfway across before stalling and no actual content. Other websites are loading fine

On the 3 network and iPhone4. Fine on the iPad.
