Saved where? Do you mean auto filled into the password box? That's a device setting, it's nothing to do with mumsnet.

ssd · 15/09/2015 21:55

ah!

so how do I change the setting then?

It'll be in your settings/advanced settings. Click on that and have a look round. You'll have ticked a password autofill box sometime.

where do I find the settings bit?

Depends what device you're using? Usually on the Start button for Windows (I think?) On the bottom right hand side for a Chromebook. Don't know anything about apple stuff.

Might be quicker to google? I'm not on a Windows machine so can't remember. Hope you get it sorted.

will depend what browser (and possibly what version of the browser) you are using. somewhere in the browser menus (not the start menu of your computer) there will be a 'settings' option, which will have an option to save passwords automatically, ask if you want to save, never save or similar.

BeccaMumsnet · 17/09/2015 12:10

Hi ssd - this will likely be part of your browser settings, as EasyFromNowOn has said above. If you're having trouble finding the right menu, have a Google - the way to find this will depend on which browser you're using.
