Adding to watch lists

Keep forgetting to untick the 'watch this thread' box, but can't see any way to untick it permanently in my settings. Can anyone help? I may just be being daft ...

It should be that you can uncheck the 'automatically watch threads I post on' option in Customise? You won't then have threads you post on appear in your watch list but you can still choose to watch them on a case by case basis. That's the theory, anyway, but if you've discovered a glitch do let us know.
