cant register an account

Before hackergate I had just opened an account. When mn rebooted everything it disappeared. Password changing didn't do anything. It has literally gone kaput. So tried to make a new one. That wont work either as apparently my email address is invalid:- its a hotmail one btw

Currently logged in via fb but don't really want to be for privacy reasons. So why can I not register?

Explain your situation to MNHQ - who knows what went wrong during Jeffreygate. An email to [email protected] should do it. (Maybe set up a new email to do it just to save time and so that you have one going spare to make a 'fresh start' if needed?)
