Android app not working

Well, as the title says really. My android app isn't working. It just says "unable to connect with mumsnet" I've tried u installing and reinstalling.

Hi BlueberryWafer - PolterGoose is right, we've removed the app for now. If you're using iOS, please do take a look at this thread where Mumsnetters are being invited to test our new app.

You'll also see from Justine's thread here that MNHQ hope to follow up the new iOS app with an android app in due course.

Is this the case for the ipad app too, as if get the same message when I try to connect via that?

I'm afraid it is the case. There was a new iOS app in testing (see the top sticky thread) but that's just failed due to some admin snafu so you'll have to make do with the mobile or desktop site at the moment. There will hopefully be a fully functioning iOS app shortly.

Just found this thread after trying to log into the app. Might be an idea to remove it from the Google Play Store if it's officially been taken down? Save all us non-iphone users downloading it and wasting our time Hmm
