A hide picture option?

MN used to be my safe place.

I quite liked it when there were just links for pictures.

I'm a reasonable woman, I'm happy to compromise.

Keep the pictures on the screen, but please give us a hide picture option.

People are posting horrible pictures of eight legged minions of doom and it's terrifying me. I'd quite like to be able to hide these photos, but still be able to be on the thread.

Yes!

I dfinitely would like to hide pics. Sometimes spiders, sometimes oozing body parts.

Still want to read the threads but could do without picture aides sometimes.
