Advertising side bars

Why am I getting the advertising down both sides of talk threads. I thought it was just meant to be on the front page. It is extremely annoying and off-putting. Please can you get rid of it.

yes this is just come on mine as well. i have 2 huge pictures of meerkat movies. it really is annoying. its actually making me not want to look at threads.

Same here - and when I click on my floating Talk bar it opens the Compare the Market ad instead.
