Can we have, tech teaching on Internet safety?

Over the past few days, I've come to realise that my knowledge of Internet safety is non existant, I'm sure I'm not the only one. My internet knowledge is very basic, and most of it was learn in school, yes a very long time ago!

I was wondering wheather someone can explain/teach me?

I think there has been some talk of having a webchat on internet security, Freeandsinglewater, although I assume that that would have to be when things have 'settled down a bit' - and Goodness knows how long that will take. Who would be in the hot seat is still up for thought and discussion, though, as far as I'm aware.

And they'd have to not only agree but also have some fairly tough guidelines for discussion I reckon!
