Back off howtorebuild. I got the Gin emoticon request in first. Grin

BabCNesbitt · 25/08/2015 13:59

Chickens are fairly deadpan, I think?

Simurgh · 25/08/2015 14:15

I suppose you could have a 'mellow' chicken. Wink I guess we have to leave it to Tech's ingenuity.

howtorebuild · 25/08/2015 14:32

GN have a roast chicken.

Posh! Grin

LumelaMme · 25/08/2015 14:41

We need a [vomit] emoticon.

I could then apply it to all those threads which begin, 'Isn't XYZ Politician the hottest thing ever?'

FruSirkaOla · 25/08/2015 15:19

Yeah, I saw that on GN this morning. 'Tis rather fun!

FarelyKnuts · 25/08/2015 15:21

Do chickens have emotions?
How can you tell?
Do they have chicken therapists? (Mother Hens maybe)

BeccaMumsnet · 26/08/2015 16:48

.

Chicken emotion please?
scrappydappydoo · 26/08/2015 16:55

Ah not sure about that - you'll have people boasting that they've annoyed at least 100 people with their chicken opinion as opposed to your uneconomical 4..

Simurgh · 26/08/2015 17:08

I'm warming to the notion of a sozzled chicken - perhaps a chicken lying with legs akimbo and clutching a green bottle. Nobody would have the faintest idea what is was in that small size of course but it could be interesting to see what they made of it. Grin

I wonder what we could actually use a chicken emoticon for though ? Hmm

howtorebuild · 26/08/2015 17:15

On GransNet they use the chicken emotion for dinner. We could use it for describing people who are avoiding something though not in a PA way, a jokey way. Magic chicken threads will never be the same.

It's gotta be a rubber chicken, no?

Chicken emotion please?
Simurgh · 26/08/2015 17:30

It's come to me - as in a dream and totally uninspired by a gin bottle of course. There could be a Christmas 'Emoticon Competition' with members voting for their favourite to be installed for a year (and the proceeds split between MN's nominated charities if people wanted a link to a donation site to accompany the vote.)

I haven't thought this through yet. More [spring water] required I think.

TiredButFineODFOJ · 26/08/2015 20:24

Wank badger emoticon!!! Also, cocklodger - can be a cockrel in a house been thinking about this

KateSMumsnet · 28/08/2015 11:58

Why did the chicken cross the road from Gransnet to Mumsnet?

Er, it didn't. Or hasn't yet
