somehting has changed! I can;t post now if i have my browser set to block ads

I used to have security set to high in the browser so that I got no adds just empty boxes or balnk spaces

now if I do that I can't log in or see the options to start a thread, flip, refresh page or add message

these onbly reappear when i turn down my security settings and then i see these awful flash ads

if i turn it back up to high i get ads saying helios ads

and none of the above options

why is this it is very annoying

has some anti ad blocking system been switched on?

ok mumsnet no longer works unless browser securoity is set to medium so that i see the ads

is anyone else finding this and

why?

DH says....if you have the browser security set on high, your PC won't accept or update any cookies, so getting onto sites is pretty impossible. (me now!) Maybe MN has updated or changed its cookies which is why you can't get in on high any more?

mumsnet is all completely ad free again today just as it was before

can't be because of being off and on again as i did that yesterday too..very strange

The links at the top of the page are in scripts (what internet explorer calls Active Scripting). I think when you have security set to "high" then scripts are disabled and the links don't appear.
Nothing has changed recently on our side.
