How do I delete PMs?

I've tried the red cross and tried ticking the box then the bin but they're still there.
Any ideas?

Sorry, can't help but I've got the same problem! I deleted all of mine yesterday but they are back again today.

I just selected each message individually and then the bin icon. I left the nonsense ones in case anyone wanted to waste their time trawling through those, but the others remain deleted...from my end at least

I seem to have been able to do it now.
I selected all & pressed the bin icon.
