I've just clicked through to here from Facebook and felt I had to say something. You have a picture of some form of pastry product and call it a cornish pasty. It is most definitely NOT a cornish pasty. This is a cornish pasty.

they look exactly the same

Pastamancer · 13/08/2015 15:00

A proper pasty has a crimp, the one on the MN page is just folded over.

you mean the edges?

I looked for ages before I saw it Grin one appears chunky and the other seems to have smaller lines at a bit of an angle.

And that makes the difference?

what about the ones with the ridge at the top? They're not one either?

Who knew it was so precise? Grin

FenellaFellorick · 13/08/2015 15:04

Well, I mean, you, obviously Grin

I meant I had no clue. I call them all cornish pasties.

Hi there Pastamancer,

Thank-you for alerting us of this grievous error. We have informed the Pasty Police, who have confirmed that this is indeed a total abomination.

We have therefore passed this on to the relevant team, who have assured us that this will be rectified forthwith.

Abashedly yours,
MNHQ Flowers
