It might not stay that way. If the server is anything like windows you can go back to an earlier saved version of your ... gubbins.

If I had a hacker running riot overnight in my sever I think I might prefer to take a step back to a safe, older version of the gubbins rather than crawl through it all to see where the intruder might have left ... unwelcome pressies.

Either that or the hacker did it.
