Emoticons not showing

Tonight I've noticed that emoticons aren't showing properly. Just text in place of emoticons.

Not sure if that worked? I'll attach a screenshot too. Weird.

They're showing for me, even in your op.

It seems to be an intermittent problem on my tablet - can see them on this thread, couldn't on the thread I was reading a couple of minutes ago.

Definitely intermittent.

In the first screenshot you can see the third post down has the word 'confused' in a box.

This one is also weird.
