I'm getting this with every thread I post on. I don't want to watch them all - is this just a mix up between watched threads and TIO?

I mean it doesn't matter, it's just a bit weird.

It's not a bug, it's something MN decided on. If you go to Customise you can untick a box to stop it happening.

It's an improvement that none of us knew we needed. Hope this helps!

And MN still hasn't explained why it's an improvement or why it should be the default option.

I don't really mind. I don't watch threads more than about once a year when I can't think of anything to post to mark my place.

Oh God, I've just been into Customise. Classic has gone and I'm now called 'Sober Workplace'.

Couldn't we at least have 'Intoxicated Workplace'?

I think the watch thing is to do with getting emails if other people post on a thread.

I can see that going well - 900 odd emails for a popular thread. Really?

Intoxicated Workplace is a terrific idea.

Have a look at the stickied thread in Site Stuff about improvements to watched threads and that will give you the background....

This is doing my head in. Please change the default to unticked.

I don't need to "watch" a thread if I've posted on it, because it comes up in "Threads I'm On".

I shouldn't need to have to untick the box every time. It should not be the default.

Marina, if you go into Customise you can untick the box for good, and it will no longer fuck your colour choices up.

Hi everyone - please take a look at this thread for more information on these changes.

Why can''t I find sober workplace in customise? Or any other workplace?
Is it hidden somewhere, like behind the sober filing cabinets?

This is seriously driving me potty now! I don't want to watch every bloody thread I post in!

I'm also a bit and about how that feature is an improvement. It's not. It's just annoying.

Well, I'll have to go and sort out my customisation to make sure it doesn't happen.

I've tired to clear my watched threads before now. Takes forever, and so I give up.

Right so I've finally figured out how to fix this under customise.

This better work...and nothing else better go wrong because I've fixed it .
