Name change glitch

I have another name that I used for personal questions (SN board and relationships). I've never had a problem changing from my usual name to my name change and back again. However, the other day, I name changed to (for example) NameChange1 but then when I tried to go back to my usual name, it said it was taken? This one is now my new usual name but I don't want to lose it if I N/C for another personal thread.

Anyone else? Thanks. :)
