The default setting for Threads I'm On is to display the five most recent replies

This is what it says at the top of the TIO list.

So why is it showing 18 replies to each thread with no way to reduce the number displayed?

Older TIOs are showing 5 or fewer replies but every TIO in the last couple of days shows 18.

Mine is the same - desktop, via firefox.

Me too, I'm drowning in replies. TIO is showing all replies on the thread since mine, even if it was ages ago, as far as I can see.

No we are all getting it. And we've been shouting about it on the other thread, too, but I think it was drowned out by the highlighting discussion

I would like mine to show five as it used to. Also might be useful to remove that text if you are removing the option for how many replies to preview :)

It happened at the same time as the highlighting thing. It's like when the options were removed from customise everyone defaulted to 18 instead of 5.

I've resorted to hiding most of them.

I am having the same problem. I'm on a laptop. It's so irritating that I have hidden most of the threads I'm on. I emailed MNHQ last night, but haven't heard back yet.

I first noticed it after I went in to turn off the automatic watch list thing, but yes it did happen about the time the color choices went back to being able to customize. Thanks for that MNHQ, now can we get the TIO back to five messages rather than 18?

Meant to add, I'm using desktop, not mobile.

It's the same for me, I'm on an iPad, using Safari.

And some of them only show one or two posts? WTF?
