posting on thread email

Why am I suddenly getting email notifications every time someone posts on a thread I'm on? I don't want this cluttering up my inbox. How can I turn it off? Thanks

Go to threads I am watching, remove the thread you are on from list. Also uncheck the watch box underneath the posting box before you post for the first time on a new thread.

Apparently you can turn it off in customise but going into customise is buggering up everyone colour settings atm. (see lengthy threads in site stuff topic) So I would recommend avoiding it for the moment.
