Yes they're pretty awful agreed but I guess they are effective so it's a a toughy. Stop them and they get less money...
What does everyone think? We can ditch them if everyone would rather...

No, it makes me resent the charity and mumsnet for the cheap and intrusive shock value

To be honest if I had known it was there I would have avoided mumsnet. It is the most aggressively nasty thing that has come into my home today and I didn't give my permission for it to get into my house.
I now feel assaulted by mumsnet
