Question about pm's if you change name change

I have name changed to post on a thread. If I change back to 'original' name and someone pm's me under 'new name' will it still reach me?
I hope this makes sense.

I have had a PM come through that was sent to a name I had a couple of years ago, so I think the answer is yes.

Thank you. It was a sensitive thread where I invited the op to pm me. I would feel really guilty if I went back to my usual name and she sent me a pm and thought I was ignoring.

If I remember correctly I had the option to reply in either that name or my current name. I chose that name.

I've just checked on the thread and someone else has said the same. Thanks again. I feel reassured now
