Uber ad directs me to AppStore without pressing on it.

Every single page I go on withe über app, it's fine for a little while and then the ad starts 'buffering' and sends me off to the App Store to download it....if I scroll down/up enough times

I keep my thumb in the bottom left hand corner so it's not me accidentally hitting it.

It even did it on this thread to prove a point.

Hi GladysTheGolem - this sounds frustrating. Just to check, is this on an iPhone/iPad? Are you using Safari?

Iphone.
In safari, it doesn't do it on my DH's phone (I go through google app on there if that makes a difference)

As a first step, would you mind clearing the cookies on your safari browser?

Directions below:

1. Launch the Settings app from the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad.
2. Scroll down and tap on Safari.
3. Scroll down and tap on Clear Cookies and Data.

This should stop the uber ad from following you about everywhere on Mumsnet, if it is still persistent after this then we'll get it blocked on our side.
