Website resetting to advert

If I click on AIBU or Chat it is automatically readdressing the window to what I assume is an advert.
At any rate the new address begins with:
googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-

My firewall is then blocking it so it just says Windows can't display this page.
My phone is currently fine though.

That must be annoying - sorry, we'll look into it

It's still doing it: just for AIBU and Chat topic as far as I can see.

I suspect it's something to do with one of the adverts on there.

Can we just check, you say everything's okay on your phone - is it just on the desktop site that this is happening?

It is just the desktop site, but looking at it, it may be my firewall playing silly games. Not sure why it's picked those two topics though.

Okay, well we'll flag it to our Tech team anyway, see if they can work out what's happening. We'll let you know if we hear owt.

It's just happened on ebay too, so I suspect it's my end not yours. Thanks for looking anyway.
