Why is this happening when I open a thread on my iPhone?

Every time I click on a topic, or thread or any link on the Mumsnet site, a new page opens to an Irish rail site, Luas.ie. (I am in Ireland) via another site ad.doubleclick.net
To open the link I want, I have to open a new page. This is only happening on my phone not my laptop.
I have cleared my history but it still happens. It seems to only happen on the Mumsnet site.
I don't know what I have done, it's really annoying when clicking on a thread hoping to find something juicy and interesting to find only the latest travel updates.
Can anyone help me?

I can't help but it's happening me too on Android! Been happening for about an hour and getting very frustrating!

PureMorning · 09/04/2015 18:35

Same on my kindle it's very frustrating

VioletWillow · 09/04/2015 18:42

Yup, same here on my Kindle, what's going on?

ThisIsntFunnyDean · 09/04/2015 19:38

Same on my iPhone and I'm in Ireland too! Well it was - I'm on iPad now and too lazy to move and get phone to check...

TheOnlyOliviaMumsnet · 09/04/2015 19:43

Grr
How annoying
Sorry about this.
WE'll look into it

Caoimhe1922 · 09/04/2015 20:19

Thanks Olivia.

It's been happening to me, whenever that particular ad is displayed at the bottom of the page. It's fine when it's a different ad. I'm not in Ireland.

Pomegranatemolasses · 09/04/2015 20:44

I actually came on here to post about this! Aargh - bloody Luas ad. Has been driving me mad all evening!

usualsuspect333 · 09/04/2015 20:52

It's very annoying. Happening on my kindle too.

Pomegranatemolasses · 09/04/2015 21:27

Damn - the site was working perfectly for a while and now bloody luas ad is back. Angry

Moln · 09/04/2015 21:29

Same here. Im now on the android tablet and it's ok

is everyone it's happening to in Ireland? Weird!

TheEagle · 10/04/2015 07:55

It's happening to me too, driving me nuts!

It was fine late last night but it's back now.

TheEagle · 10/04/2015 07:56

Oh and I'm in Ireland too if that makes a difference - but I can't see a LUAS ad anywhere on the mobile site!

LayMeDown · 10/04/2015 08:02

Same here. Have to open in separate window but even then once I want to go to next page it happens again. Incredibly irritating.

mais · 10/04/2015 08:19

Happening here too - on Safari & Chrome on iPhone. Really frustrating.
I'm in Ireland too.

Valsoldknickers · 10/04/2015 08:28

MNHQ, any news? It's still happening.

Really annoying while trying to play the word games :(

catzpyjamas · 10/04/2015 08:28

I'm getting it on Kindle fire. I can't do anything on MN probably can't even post this

catzpyjamas · 10/04/2015 08:30

www.luas.ie/easterextravaganza/
There is a Luas ad at the bottom of the page in mobile view

DebbieFiderer · 10/04/2015 09:36

I'm getting this too, but only on my Kindle Fire, not on my phone (Android). I am not in Ireland but weirdly my Kindle often thinks I am (defaults to google.ie for instance).

TheEagle · 10/04/2015 09:37

Aha I see the ad now! (Or rather I now notice that the bunny is advertising the LUAS!)

It's wrecking my head, I can only use the desktop site which is not acceptable to a 34+ weeks pregnant woman who needs to MN :)

DebbieFiderer · 10/04/2015 09:38

And I do have the Luas ad at the bottom of the page on my Kindle.

FarelyKnuts · 10/04/2015 09:42

It's still happening. It's driving me crazy. Everything I click on it opens that stupid luas page! Angry
