Why is there a pink pig behind my Mumsnet page?

ToffeeWhirl · 08/04/2015 13:53

There is. I can see it. At first I thought Mumsnet was just trying to be a bit arty and had coloured the 'Add a message' button pink. Then I noticed the same pink colour on the 'Shortcuts' button at the bottom of the home page, but this time I can clearly see a snout.

Can the pig be moved on, please?

ToffeeWhirl · 08/04/2015 13:55

Brilliant Grin

Can you take a screenshot? PrintScreen and then open Paint and paste.

cozietoesie · 08/04/2015 13:58

Have you been at the cooking sherry again, ToffeeWhirl ?

DishwasherDogs · 08/04/2015 14:03

I'd like a pig please MN.

ToffeeWhirl · 08/04/2015 14:06

Doesn't anyone else have a pig?

I had Prosecco last night, cozie, but think it's worn off now. Wink

Bertie - I have never taken a screen shot. I'll have a go.

Oh no, it's gone! The pink pig's gone!

No one is ever going to believe me, are they?

(Mumsnet tech - I bet you saw this thread and quietly hurried the pig to its pigsty whilst I wasn't looking).

What are the screen/view settings on your browser? On my iPad, Safari is kind of transparent, so you can see behind it.

Do you have a giant Peppa Pig as wallpaper or something?

cozietoesie · 08/04/2015 14:14

...No one is ever going to believe me, are they?...

Of course we believe you.

Of course we do. Grin

ToffeeWhirl · 08/04/2015 14:14

TheMoa - I don't know what my settings are. I'm on a laptop. I certainly do not have Peppa Pig as my wallpaper Grin.

Actually, I think I recognise it as the pink pig from a Mumsnet advert. It's a moneybox pig. I'll see if I can track it down...

ToffeeWhirl · 08/04/2015 14:14

cozie - it's true!

I've found the pig! If I hover my cursor over the word 'Money' on the homepage toolbar thingy, I can see the pink pig Grin.

But why on earth it appeared behind my 'Add a message' and 'Shortcuts' button, I don't know.

Strewth - this is a worse affliction than I realized.

What sort of device/OS are you using, Toffee ?

ToffeeWhirl · 08/04/2015 14:25

I'm using Windows 7, cozie.

Right, I'm off out. I just hope there aren't any random farm animals wandering around under my Mumsnet screen when I come back.
