why cant I change my namck to what it was?

I did a temporary namechange as was going t opost on something i didnt want to identify myself on.. as it was i didnt post as decided nit ti get involved as possibly too upsetting for me so only changed for a few minutes , but now i cant go back to my old name?

Why is that?

Could you let us know exactly what happens when you try to change your name back?

when i tried to change back, it highlights this message in red..

"Nickname must be between 4 and 30 characters, with characters: a-zA-Z0-9 — it must not be used by someone already"

just tried it again now, and still pops up

but if you carry on and ignore it, then you can change back after all
