THIS TEST IS NOW CLOSED
Thanks for your help. And look out for future tests you can join.

Hello all

Any kind Mumsnetters able to spare a few minutes to complete an online exercise to help us improve the site?

It's all about where main content areas (not Talk) 'live' on Mumsnet, and should take about five minutes - just follow this link to have a go.

All you need to do is to sort the 'cards' on the left into the groups on the right. There are no right or wrong answers - and you can create new groups if a suitable one doesn't already exist.

Do feel free to share the link - the more who take part, the merrier.
If you've any feedback, please email [email protected].

Many thanks in advance!

Done.

InAndOfMyself · 16/03/2015 15:58

I did it but when I tried to submit it said that I couldn't have more than 10 groups. I created 3 myself in addition to the pre-existing ones. I couldn't be bothered to change the groups to fit the maximum. Perhaps mention the limit before the exercise starts or prevent the user from creating more than 2 groups.

twirlypoo · 16/03/2015 16:11

Did it Smile

Kerberos · 16/03/2015 16:14

Done.

FrannyMumsnet · 16/03/2015 16:16

Nice. Thanks all so far. You are superduper.

InAndOf, cheers for that feedback. I've increased the limit :)

Done.

Butteredparsnips · 16/03/2015 16:28

Thanks. Have sent a few topics to room 101

CatsCantTwerk · 16/03/2015 16:31

Done.

BackforGood · 16/03/2015 16:37

Done.
Interesting there were only one or two I could have dropped into a couple of boxes.....eg maternity pay (pregnancy or work?).... I'm usually an "It depends" kind of a gal Grin

BertieBotts · 16/03/2015 16:49

Oh silly me, I read the issue but not the reply so thought I would be limited only to two extra topics. I tried to condense into as few topics as possible for that reason. Still, I think it was OK :)

BertieBotts · 16/03/2015 16:50

Oh yes there were a few I wanted to stick in more than one!

improbablesaint · 16/03/2015 17:00

what do you mean by safety for a 8 yold

improbablesaint · 16/03/2015 17:00

i added ' toddler hell'

I would like private education to have its own topic of hell too to avoid the tedious conversations that go on there

mathanxiety · 16/03/2015 17:04

Same here.

mathanxiety · 16/03/2015 17:05

(Same here about some cards fitting a few boxes)

BackforGood · 16/03/2015 17:06

DEfinitely agree with improbable re the Private Ed.

There's such a disproportionate number of threads in Education (or Primary, or Secondary) which I open, then they turn out to be about Private Ed - I wish they were in their own section so I could hide it.

improbablesaint · 16/03/2015 17:10

also a topic for

" King Eds versus Shitehole Academy I just cant decide'
type of ones

FruChristerOla · 16/03/2015 17:10

Well .... I got no further than this. It wouldn't open the next page when I clicked on 'Let's Get Started' Hmm

Got five minutes to help Mumsnet with site improvements?

And what happened to the screenshot image I tried to upload?

Now it's on my second post, despite adding it to my first post.

FrannyMumsnet · 16/03/2015 17:16

FruChristerOla Hmmm...
What browser are you using? On PC or Mac?

OP posts:
FruChristerOla · 16/03/2015 17:18

iMac (oldish!) and Firefox.

I'll have a look at this on my iPad in due course!

FrannyMumsnet · 16/03/2015 17:22

OK FruChristerOla, let me know if that works better for ya. Thanks.
