Purple ribbon advertising webchat is obscuring the box where I write posts

Just that.

The purple ribbon advertising the webcast is normally at the bottom of the screen when I'm reading threads, but when I try to add posts, it bounces up so it's entered over the box I write my posts in.

It's making it awkward to see what I'm typing (so please excuse any typos!) and it's very annoying. Does it really have to still be there when I'm writing a post?

I'm using a kindle fire, silk browser.

Never mind. The ribbon advertising the webcast seems to have been removed while I was writing that post

Hi there. If this happens again you should be able to click on the 'x' in the corner and that should get rid of it until you log out and log in again.

Im having problems with it too and it comes straight back when click on the x. Galaxy S3.

It seems to have vanished on the iPhone mobile site.

The purple ribbon is a massive nuisance on my Sony Ericsson phone. I can't get rid of it by clicking the x, it just hovers there taking up a third of the screen.

Sony experia here and it's driving me mad as well!
