I've just come across a couple of threads where something is randomly underlined twice in blue.

When you hover over it, it's an advert Confused

Can anyone else see it in the OP here?

Sorry, should have said...it's the words 'home from work' that are double underlined in blue.

DeliciousMonster · 03/03/2015 17:40

No, I think you have a virus.

Could it be your browser?

OwlBeGoing · 03/03/2015 17:40

I'm using my mobile and nothing is there. Maybe it's only on pcs etc.

WorraLiberty · 03/03/2015 17:41

Sorry I should have said, I'm on a PC and using Chrome.

Nope. Not on my PC.

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 03/03/2015 17:41

I had this at work once, I thought our website had been hacked. Turned out it was a virus on one computer making random links on pages as they loaded. Sorry.

Carpetcrawler · 03/03/2015 17:43

It's a virus.

WorraLiberty · 03/03/2015 17:45

Oh crap, better run a scan then. Thanks all.

This is what I see now on this thread Angry

It's a virus then.

Watch out though, it could be either your PC or your router that's infected. DH spent ages last week trying to de-bug PIL's laptop only to discover it was their router that was the problem.

WorraLiberty · 03/03/2015 17:48

Ok, thanks Scrambled. Let's hope it's the PC.

Yes that's a virus, usually some kind of sneak adware downloaded with a free program or a torrent or something.

WorraLiberty · 03/03/2015 21:07

Yaaay! It's gone.

I ran a virus scan and 2 malware scans, but it picked nothing up.

It turned out to be a Google Chrome extension called 'Crusharcade' that I've now deleted. One of the kids managed to add it while playing silly games Angry
