Reporting Scam Emails

I got my first one from Halifax this morning, only the website it wanted me to go on to "reactivate" my account had no www in the address. I forwarded it to the Metropolitan Police.

If anyone else gets such a scam email from a bank send it to the Metropolitan Police via [email protected]. and for scam ebay emails send them here [email protected] or here [email protected].

The more they are reported the higher the chance they will be caught.

Rhubarb, that banksafeonline thing looks good, but it is an association of UK banks, not the Metropolitan Police (who wouldn't do anything about phishing, I don't think).

It's endorsed by the Metropolitan Police and is linked on their website, so it is an official site for reporting scam emails.

Oh, I agree it's a good place to send to phishing emails to. I'm just saying it's not the Met.

My e.mail filter caught a Halifax one, thanks I will save that address and report if I get anymore, I get load of annoying ones but not had any bank ones for ages.
