'An error occurred'

I've started a new thread because I think that the problem is different to the one outlined below, which I also experienced and has now stopped.

Every time I open a page now I get the message 'an error occurred' and the tab title is just 'mumsnet'. I have to refresh four or five times usually to get the page to load.

I'm using chrome on a laptop.

Me too. Desktop, Internet explorer.

Same here iPhone 6, latest OS and Safari.
Not every time, otherwise I wouldn't be posting, but about 2/3 of the time.

And on kindle fire. I'm using the silk browser.

And when I posted that message at 7:24am. Although the post had appeared when I refreshed the page.

Me too - MacBook Pro, Firefox... if I refresh the page several times it will eventually appear :/

It's been doing it for at least 4 hours now (as evidenced by this thread I suppose!)

Bloody irritating! I can load Active but not actually get to any of the threads
Got in to this one at attempt number 7, about half an hour after first trying.

Tech sweetheart (we have checked tech still is alive in the shed recently haven't we?) any chance you could take a look? We've all turned it off and turned it back on again and now we need expertise.

Accessing MN has been rubbish all day now (your night, I'm in NZ) and I just want a little gin and a little MN before bed. Please, please, pretty please...

I guess the server is feeling a bit fragile and overloaded. I am getting it most of the time too (chrome on windows 7 for what it is worth).

if you highlight url and press enter, page (eventually) loads

seems to be worst on 'Threads I'm On'

Random. Ram pack wobble. That's your problem. A bit of blue tac will fix that.
