Unused talk names

I want to change my talk name (well, I have actually) but the one I wanted was taken and yet I can't find any posts at all under that name.

Is there anyway that MNHQ can release any names which have never been used or not used for a long time?

It's just that dh has started to post on mumsnet and I think he may know my talk name if he sees it. Am a bit annoyed actually.

I wanted to have the sister's name.

OK, so what shall I do? Should I contact HQ directly to see if unused names can be released for others to use? Or is there some way I can prevent dh seeing what I've been looking at or posting on? (perhaps I shouldn't have raved about MN so much to him!)

He is a very occasional poster but does lurk from what I can gather.
