Doing a search - can it be 'filtered'?

Hi

When I do a search - eg to see if there has been a recent thread I can add to rather than starting a new thread - I get loads of search results but seemingly with no way to filter by, say, most recent first.

Is it possible to filter or otherwise order search results?

Thanks!

I would like to know about this too!

I came on to request this too.

Ideally, it would be nice to see a selection of ways to filter a search, but date order would be my main priority.

Hi Aridane

If you're on the desktop site (and are logged in) you can do an Advanced Search - there's a purple tab at the top right of the screen. Just click on the tab and you'll be able to filter your search by date. Smile

Ah, well now you point out the 'Advance Search' button, I can't believe I didn't see it in the first place! So thanks for that. It doesn't give the 'filter' aspect - at least I don't think it does - but using the data parameters it is at least possible to filter out the zombie threads...
