How on earth did a S&B thread get deleted?

Confused

OK, maybe the poster was new and hairy-handed. I can admit there were a few weird comments in it. But why did it go? The deletion message didn't say anything...

Trolling S&B is probably an achievement in itself Grin

I saw that. Really odd.

I mean, it was an odd post (especially the stuff about the sex life) but I don't see what was in it for a troll Confused

Thurlow · 19/01/2015 17:11

Exactly. There were a few comments about liking stockings which did make me think "hmm" but really, its S&B, all the comments were about people wearing jogging bottoms and hooded coats!

Yeah, exactly. I had a little spat about just how filthy your kids get your clothes. I don't see much troll enjoyment in that!

Was it someone who hoped we'd all tell tales of dressing 'for our man' once the kids were in bed Shock. Not sure that they judged their audience really if that was the case.

AnyFucker · 19/01/2015 17:15

was it the Tights Troll ?

well known to HQ, that one

Bunbaker · 19/01/2015 17:20

I wondered as well. There wasn't anything untoward last time I looked at it.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 19/01/2015 17:23

My troll-dar went off a little bit at the beginning when she started talking about sex and 'dressing sexy' being important, but then OP seemed to redeem herself a bit later on. Most of the posts were about slobbing around in joggers so doubt they got what they were looking for.

RowanMumsnet · 21/01/2015 11:08

Not quite sure which thread you're talking about here but suspect from what you're saying that AnyFucker might be closest to the truth...

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 21/01/2015 11:31

I think it's the 'do you still dress up for your DP after having a baby' thread Rowan. Talking about stockings and jimmy Choos!

Thurlow · 21/01/2015 11:42

If it was just for tights and stocking chat it was a very unusual way of going about it!

OP posts:
GotToBeInItToWinIt · 21/01/2015 11:44

That's what I thought Thurlow, and if that's what OP was looking for they certainly will have been disappointed!

RowanMumsnet · 21/01/2015 12:00

Aha yes. Unfortunately we could see a few things behind the scenes to suggest that this one was a repeat offender.

Thurlow · 21/01/2015 12:02

Thanks Rowan - it just intrigued me!

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 21/01/2015 12:48

There is deffo a repeat offender who keeps coming back with variations of scenarios that seek to encourage talk about tights and stockings

iklboo · 21/01/2015 12:53

I could just imagine a hairy hander sitting with baby oil & tissues waiting for us all to spill our dirrrrrrty secrets only for everyone to moan about laddering & how much more comfy Asda 100 denier are. Or that joggers & a hoody (bean juice stain down the front optional) are the usual fashion choice.

AnyFucker · 21/01/2015 14:37

That's great when that happens, ikl

unfortunately though there are women who overshare massively on this site, some of which have come rather a cropper because of it

amigababy · 21/01/2015 14:47

gosh many years ago I used to help on a telephone help line for obsessive behavior and there was a tights troll which all helpers had to be made aware of, plus they blocked the phone line for callers in real need.

AnyFucker · 21/01/2015 17:19

probs the same person Smile
