New emoticons?

I've just seem a new emoticon on the Litter Tray - a shocked cat. Are there more in the pipeline? (And where can we get them?)

It will be one of the Emoji icons you can get on Apple devices etc.

They usually post as squares ??

Ah. Bugger. I was really hopeful then.

Some types used to be visible on some devices. I'm sure the Apple ones used to be visible if you were on an Apple device but that doesn't seem to always be the case.

Given MNHQ steadfastly refuse to add a for Woolly Hugs, I doubt they've added a startled cat for the Litter Tray :)

That came up as a delighted cat on my ipad - so it worked there! Where did you get it?

(I'll confess, the app currently being so dreadful and my relationship with Apple so new and .....fragile..... to only reading (fairly short) threads on the ipad and posting/reading properly on lovely old Windows - where the cats only show as question marks. I had thought last night that maybe, with the development of the new app, that there had been some leakage from new things. This morning, I see that that's not so though.)

No we don't have a shocked cat emoticon (although it does sound rather marvellous)

There are plans afoot to allow new and exciting things to happen with emoticons, so we're mostly holding off on creating any new ones for now.
